About Us!
Hello Friend!! I’m Emma, a mom to two beautiful girls. My girls, H + M, are 16 months apart and are true miracles. They keep me on my toes and are very active. H + M, Hazel and Madison, are complete opposites and have two very different style choices. After shopping for two girls that are only four and three, I realized that I needed to use my entrepreneur skills and creative mind. So, I started creating and printing and Sweet Miracles came alive.
Before my miracles were born, I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, then I taught fourth grade. I always thought I would be in the classroom teaching, but I knew I wanted more. I love children and seeing them light up when they achieve a goal. From then, I bought my first business and a few years later married my husband, Caleb.
Caleb and I knew immediately we wanted children right away after getting married. Months and months went by and we still were not pregnant. We finally gave up and made an appointment with my doctor. Then, three months of taking an oral medication and still not being pregnant, we were referred out for infertility treatment. We both went through extensive number of tests and nothing was in our favor. We met with our fertility doctor and decided to go straight into a round of in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Two rounds of IVF down, and we were told we would never be able to have children. Never, ever. We were heartbroken and I felt so lost in this world. Luckily, Caleb was very loving and positive during the whole process and months after. We decided to live life to the fullest and be thankful for our healthy bodies.
Six months passed and God worked his magic. We found out that our first miracle was due the next year. Our gentle and kind hearted Hazel was born and we were over the moon excited, but God wasn’t finished showing us his miracles. Our second and very energetic miracle, Madison, was born the following year. And we knew then our family was complete.
I have always called Hazel and Madison our miracles, and knew right away that Sweet Miracles was the perfect name. H + M help me in picking out the designs they like and it could not be any more fun. They are always sitting on my lap helping choose the best inventory for our new online store. This is more than just an online store. This is a community of mama’s cheering for each other and building each other up.
